Naming objects in a SCADA system

Naming of objects in a SCADA-system
The object name in an SCADA-system consists of three elements:
ID-tag
Information about the origin of the signal
Name of the signal supplying data to the object
Object names in someSCADA-systems cannot exceed a set number of characters!
