9.3.1 Carrying out calibration

Use two to nine standard solutions in ascending or descending order.

Preparatory activities Perform the following preparatory activities when you want to calibrate:

Note

When calibrating within the framework of a method measurement, it is

always a two-point calibration.

1 Connect an ion sensitive electrode to the meter.

2 Highlight the channel of the electrode in the measured value

display.

3 If necessary, select the ISE display with <MODE>.

4 If necessary, open the Measuring / ISE settings / Ion type menu

and select the ion type to be measured.

5 Keep the standard solutions ready.

6 If necessary, measure the temperature of the standard solu-

tions with a thermometer.

7 If necessary, change the unit of the measurement result and

calibration standards in the menu, Measuring/Units.

1 Perform the preparatory activities (see page 104).

2 Start the calibration with <CAL>.

The ISEX calibration window opens.
