4.3.6 Salt content correction
A salt content correction is required in the oxygen concentration mea-
surement of samples with a salt content of more than 1 g/l. To do this,
you have to enter the salinity equivalent of the test sample (range 0.0 -
70.0) and to switch on the salinity correction.
Note
With the Multi 3400i handheld meter, you can measure the salinity.

1 Determine the salinity of the test sample (any method, see also
section 4.4.3 M
EASURING THE SALINITY on page 36).
2 Press the <CAL> key repeatedly until Sal appears on the dis-
play.
3 Enter the salt content with <▲> <▼>.
4 Switch to the measuring mode with <M>.
